  1. I also agree with everyone. THIS WAS THE WORST NEW YEARS “PARTY” EVER! Please please please take these reviews seriously if you are thinking about attending. I thought it was going to be a great time because of the add, but it was all false advertising. We arrived at 10pm for the dance (like it said too) and ended up waiting in 2 big lines to pick up our tickets, then had to show ID twice and get frisked twice…(didn’t get in until 11:45)…then you had to stand in a huge line to get drink tickets (for cash only, which I didn’t have)…so I asked an employee where the ATM is, and he said I had to leave and go back to the front of the hotel – then wait in line again. So that was a no go. I got $20 bucks from my friend (drinks $7-$8 dollars minimum) and waited about 20 minutes to get those tickets…then we made our way over to the drink line, and what do you know? A huge line with people pushing and shoving you and the smallest drinks I have ever seen. We decided to look at our phones to check the time, and sure enough it was 12:08…never heard ANYTHING announced for New Years (so much for a new years kiss!). By 1:00am I finally got my first drink (which I made a double, so I wouldn’t have to come back to the line), chugged that back and decided to check out the dancing space. Not nearly enough room for anyone to do anything and shitty music. So all in all by 1:10pm we decided to leave (I didn’t even get to dance!). And for icing on the cake, they would not let you walk back to the coat check line through the hotel, you had to walk outside around the hotel to go back to pick up your coat. It is very sad when the best part of the New Year was getting dressed all nice and having a few drinks before you left to go to this hell hole! What a waste of $100 bucks. So again, if you feel like this is going to be a great party, don’t be fooled!
